Wellington was great. We were there for 3 months. We were there from September to December. It was nice to go from busy to chill. I did a lot of new things there too. The first month we were just getting back into schedule. We did a lot of school, hikes, and exploring. I joined tumbling classes for 10 weeks. I didn’t get any tricks but I made a lot of progress while ch will be easier to get them now. The second month October. We went to the beach a few times and did a lot of fun things. It was a pretty casual month, nothing much did happen. the last month November was fun! We did everything that we wanted to see for the last month. We checked everything off our bucket list.
We did a lot of things in Wellington but here are my top three we did or went. My probably top one would be sea glass hunting. We went to all different kinds of beaches to find sea glass. It was really fun and I found I lot of good pieces. My 2nd one would be this really good cafe. It was called the beach hut (I think). It was right on the ocean and their food was delicious. I ordered the French toast and it was so good. My last one would be berry picking. We went to a berry farm and picked some berries. It was really fun and the berries were so fresh. I really enjoyed it and had fun.
My thoughts on Wellington were great. Our Air BnB was nice and it was cozy. We were there when it was winter, so it was pretty chilly. I was really surprised it was chilly because you would think it would be tropical cause it’s on an island but it was quite cold. I really liked Wellington and it had everything we needed. I liked how we settled in but wish it wasn’t as long cause it was quite boring by the end. There’s beach’s were pretty nice. I liked it there and it is a popular tourist destination . I liked Wellington and it was a perfect choice for staying there for a bit.
