When we first got to Rome we were all starving and so tired. Luckily we had a supermarket right across the street. Then we got some food and called it a day.
The first full day in Italy was a blast but a chill day at the same time and I will tell you why. So when we woke up we went straight to Vatican City because we had a tour guide booked. So our tour guide said so much information that I couldn’t take it all in, and the tour was almost three hours long but I felt like three years long because I was so tired. So after the tour we went back to our apartment building and probably chilled for about 4-5 hours, and that’s a long chill brake. After we chilled we were all so we went to this sandwich shop. And I’ll tell you from a picky eater those were so good! Like I would eat you every hour the day but one thing is those sandwiches would stuff you full. After that we played some games and called it a day!
The day after the Vatican day we went to the Colosseum! I was so excited for the colosseum because it is a seven wonder of the world. But it kind of didn’t meet my expectations when went in the inside. Because inside it had all this info that I couldn’t take in. In my opinion I would say buy a tour group because it would probably be a good bang for your buck. But inside it was still realty cool and would recommend it.
The day after we kind of had a busy day. Because at the start of the day we went to the acropolis which was kind of boring,but when we bought the audio guide it really helped and was a much needed thing to help you understand it. After that we bought these we bought these donuts which were like a long timbit with whip cream on the top of it and it was kind of good. After that we went to Trevi fountain and it was as busy as it said it was going to be. Then we wonder after that and found are why back to where are airbnb was. We chilled for along time then we went souvenir shopping then got pasta and called it a day.
That day we went to our next place. But that day was the day when the new pope did church outside. And it was so busy that it already had 20 thousand people at it at 9am which is crazy because it was not till 12 in the afternoon.
