When we got to the Gold Coast, we went to see my best friend, Luke. Luke and I have been friends for about 2 years. We went to their resort to see them and after we were done talking we went in the pool and we played football. After the pool we went to our Airbnb. Our Airbnb was so nice, it had stuff like a pool in the backyard and four bedrooms. Like, that’s crazy! The first thing I did when I got to the Airbnb was go in the pool. The pool had lots of pool stuff, like a croc and 2 pool noodles (they did have more stuff but I don’t remember it.)
Every night me and my friend would play this game called Brawl Stars. The game is like you have to collect people to do different things. One person has a staff that can shake the ground and does damage to other characters. Anyway on the second day it was like a pool day. All we did was go in the water, get out and play mini sticks, then go back in the pool because we would be too hot to play anymore. That night, we had these really good tacos and I loved them. We also taught the Van Luvens how to play this game called butt hole. It’s a game were you had about 20 cards and who ever gets rid of all there cards first wins first place but in this game you call it president and second place is called vice president but from 3rd to 5th place is called netruel and the second last place is called vice butthole and last place is call butthole.
The next day, me, my dad, my friend, and my friend’s dad all played 18 holes of golf. I was so happy when I found out that we were playing 18 holes of golf because I have never played 18 holes of golf before. The first holes 1-9 were the worst I have ever played. But holes 10-18 were almost the best I have ever played. At the end of the day my score was 81. That’s really good for me. After we finished golfing, I realized that my tooth was really wiggling, so I decided to take it out. When I took it out, it did not hurt at all. After I pulled out my tooth, I jumped in the pool to celebrate.
The following day, I woke up and looked under my pillow, and I saw $20 AUD. Like WHAT! That day we were going to a water park so I was going to spend my money there. At the water park, I did every water slide they had. I even did a slide that had a 70-degree drop. I thought I passed out on the first drop; I was so scared. I didn’t look scared from the outside, but in the inside was a different story.
After the water park day, we went to Morteon Island. Morteon Island is a place that has 15 shipwrecks all in a line. When we got there, we were the first group to go. When you got in the water you saw so many fish. In the water we saw a stingray, a turtle, and lots and lots of fish. The water was quite cold and when I got out, I was shivering. Before we went to the island we ate food. The food was not that good but it was ok. At the island, I went paddle boarding with my friend, and for some reason, it was kind of difficult. When we were done with the island, we did an ocean tour where we saw dolphins, dugongs, stingrays, and another turtle. At the end of that day, I was so tired that I slept on the boat ride back. When we got back from the tour, we ordered some pizza because we were all so hungry. The pizza was delicious, and the desserts were even better.
The day after Morteon Island was our last day with my friend. So we had a pool day. The last day with them was really fun. We ate out on the last day at a Mexican place, and it was really good food. And you get a free hat when you go there. I would definitely go back to Gold Coast with my friends when I’m older.
