Corfu is charming. It has so much natural beauty and old historic buildings. We stayed in Corfu for a week in a little town called Liapades. The town had amazing beaches, lots of cats, and narrow streets. Corfu was stunning and I would love to come back again!
Corfu’s old town was so pretty. It’s full of Little side streets with old historical buildings on the side. All the streets are walkable without cars and have so much good shopping. The old town has lots of food, shops, and historical buildings you can go inside and see. We went to a castle right upon a hill looking over the old town. It was pretty steep climbing up but the view was gorgeous. There was an ocean view on one side and an old town overlooking the other side. Old town was really pretty and I loved everything about it.
Corfu has one of the best beaches I have ever seen before. All the nature in Corfu was so pretty. The water is so blue with a very dramatic backdrop of mountains. One of the best beaches was called Rovinia beach. Although the beach was rocky, everything about it was beautiful. It takes about 30 minutes to walk down to a pretty secluded beach. You’re in your own cove with beautiful views. I really enjoyed it. I also really loved this place where it had straight down cliffs. They would come out of nowhere and the cliffs were so dramatic. It was really pretty. Corfu really was stunning.
Cat’s in Greece are very common. You see cats all the time in Greece. Everywhere you will go you will see cats. We have even had it show up on our doorstep everyday. We would even name them. The one cat we named was Peekaboo because it would always come out of nowhere. We would feed her and everything. I really loved the cats everywhere. I am not a big cat person but I liked seeing them but not owning them. I liked all the animals and cats in Greece.
Everything about Corfu was stunning. It had so much to do and was very pretty. The cats were cute, the views were gorgeous, and their old town was really historical. I really think this place was a great goodbye to Greece and a perfect opening to Italy. I loved everything about Greece and it was one of my favourite countries. Avtío Greece and Ciao Italy.
