Singapore: Changi Airport

March 21, 2025

When we first got Singapore it was 8pm so it was kinda of late. When we got to our hotel it looked nice from the outside and the pictures in the rooms were pretty good too. But when we got to our room it smelt like a wet dog and it could only sleep 3 people which is bad because we had a family of 4 people. So we went down to the front desk and asked for a new room politely. We asked for a family room and we got it. It was definitely better the other room but the photos made it look luxurious. And I wasn’t. We were all so tired after the flight so we just went down to seven eleven and got some ramen. I was quite good. I didn’t fell so good so I just went to bed after while the family kept watching a tv show. The next was like are walking day. So we took a metro to Gardens by The Bay ( Which is a place where you must go to see the light show of you ever go to Singapore.) and walked back to our Airbnb. During our walk back we went to Merlion Park where dad did the pose with it and after that we went back to our hotel and it was a hour walk. After that we were so tired after the walk that we just slept and watched tv. When we woke up after the nap we went to go get supper at hawker centres and the food was so cheap. Like it was $5 for a mishiliene star meal. ( Like WHAT!) I had pork buns and rice and it was so good but so basic. After we finished supper was really tired for some reason so went straight to bed after. The day after that we went to Sentosa island which is an island off of the city Singapore. The water was so warm there that I was in the water most of the time I was there. When we were there we went to the most southern point of Asia. We crossed a bridge to get there but on our way back we swam back. It was not a far swim, it was like 300m at least. We had to take a 45 minute bus back but felt like 15 minutes for some reason. After Sentosa we had supper at little India. At the first moment we got there I didn’t like it. The smell was really bad and the vibe was a little weird. We found a restaurant after that and the food was really good. I just had nann bread and that’s all. We got a Uber back to our hotel instead of walking because it was 8:00 at night. When we got back I felt safer than in little India. The day after that me and my dad just hanged and did really nothing. I just watched tv basically the whole day and it was kind of boring day. My mom and my sister went to the mall that day it was more funner day than me and my dad had. We ordered in food because we were all tired and didn’t want to go out and get food. I had chicken dumplings and they were good. The day after that we headed to Thailand. I really liked Singapore and it will make number one on my favourite country. Bye
