Paris was so fun! I loved it so much! The Olympics were there when we were there, and we went. It was such a cool atmosphere and a great thing to experience. We went to three events, and they were all so worth it. The first event we went to was a hardcourt volleyball game! It was the one I had the most interest in! It was between the USA and Brazil. It was super interesting and very interactive. Then the second event we went to was a football game. It was a gold medalist game! It was so loud cause France was in it, but was an experience I’d never seen before. The last one we went to was the La Concorde area. We watched break dancing outside of the stadium, it was pretty cool. We even got to see our Canadian guy. For merch I got an Olympic hoodie, I love it so much that I wear it almost daily. The little stuff I got was a lanyard, a pin to go on the lanyard, and a little bracelet. I love them all so much! We were there when the Olympics ended so we also had some quiet time there as well. We went up the Effiel tower, I loved it so much and had a blast. It was smaller than I expected but it was so cool to see! The food I had there was so good. Their croissants were delicious and so fresh. For sure the best croissant I’ve ever had. Their macarons were so good too. I wanted to come to Paris for the macrons and they were for sure so good! My mom and I went to a French pharmacy to get some skincare. It was for sure cheaper than at home, so glad I got some new skincare products! After we went to the Seine River. It was nothing special, but it did look dirty. I feel bad for the swimmers that had to swim in that. The next day we went to the Louvre. The Louve was great and cool. I loved the building and thought it was cool. Later we went into the museum. It was super busy but cool. We went to see the Mona Lisa. It was super cool but you could barely move. I wanted to move back and forth to see if their eyes followed me but I could barely move. The cafes were great too and were delicious. I thought Paris was going to be more stinky but you couldn’t ever smell pee. I loved pairs and was great It is for sure my top 3 cities I loved it so much and had a blast! I think I would come back when it wasn’t so busy because of the Olympics.
