Copenhagen was really fun. We got to our apartment at 8:00 Denmark time. ( It is an 8hr difference now) The Airbnb was really weird it was basically like the Airbnb in Scotland. ( The taxi we got to take to the Airbnb was a Tesla.) On our first full day, it was raining. So we got groceries, played football, played Monopoly Deal, Duolingo, and read. When me and my dad were playing catch I got so wet by diving at the ball.
On the day after that, we did the canal tour. It was kind of boring. But I learned a lot about Copenhagen. After that, we went to the Lego store. At the Lego store, I built my own Lego character. For my Lego character, no face looked like me so we just tried to find the face of a guy. I tried to add a lot of detail to my character. After that, we got McDonald’s. McDonald there is like McDonald’s in Canada, but the chicken nuggets are different. Then we went to the Museum of Illusions. It was so cool. There was this illusion that it is a straight bridge but the background is spinning then it tricks your brain that the bridge is spinning. Then we did the Christ our Saviour town walk. It is a big tower you walk up outside of it and it is terrifying. When I saw how high I was I hated it because I hate heights.
The day after that we went to Tivoli Gardens. Tivoli Gardens is my favourite place we went to on the trip so far. We went to 6 rides. My favourite was you spin around and it’s going around at the same time. it was so much fun. And there is this other ride where you go down this steep slope and then you do 2 loopy lops in a row. And my third favourite one is controlled by a person on a roller coaster.
On our last full day there we did Guinness World Records and an Italian supper. The Guinness World Records place was really cool. However, some of the records were broken in 2024. And the Italian supper was so good. I had a pizza which had 8 slices my dad had one slice and I had the other 7 slices. On the last day, our train got cancelled to Berlin so we flew there.
Copenhagen will definitely make it to my top three.
