Here is three reasons why you should go to Athens.
1. The city is so old, Like some of the stuff there is from 200 AD. My dad always says “ this thing is over 1000 years old” which is actually true there. And most of the buildings there are over 100 years.
2. The monuments there are so cool. Like the acropolis has so much history in it and you have so much things to learn. And there they also hosted the worlds first Olympic Games and the stadium the played at is still. They have this jail cell there that is carved into a mountain but there is no prisoners there right now which is a good thing.
3. The food there is so tasty. Don’t ask me gyro I should have because I never had one but I would tell you to go get Slovaki stick which is basically shiskabs and that comes with pita bread. There is this place in Athens that we tried and it was really good. That was when I first tried slovaki and I fell in love.
