The Netherlands: Surfing

August 24, 2024

The Netherlands was great. We had a hotel there and it was so nice. There was a misunderstanding with the rooms so we had to have two rooms. Me and my sister had a room and my parents had a room. I think that was a good idea to have two rooms because I was crazy in Kadyn’s room like crazy. We were close to the train station so we could take a train everywhere.

In Rotterdam, I lost my tooth by taking a bite into a muffin. The softest thing you could imagine. After that, we took a train to Amsterdam. It was like a 1 hour train ride there so not long. In Amsterdam, we walked to a Zara because we thought it would be a nice day there but it wasn’t, it was cold outside and we were wearing shorts. I’m pretty sure that we saw every bike that existed there and I’m pretty sure that we walked over every bridge there too. After all of that, we went to the Anne Frank House. That’s where she was hiding from Natizs not going to the concentration camp. It was cool, we got to go see where they were hiding and I went in it. After that we we to the train station and we had a train but was moved to another platform and we sprinted to the platform, but when we got there the train was cancelled because someone was on the track. Then we had to wait for a train and this one came but it was departing in one minute and we sprinted to it and we got on happily but this train was slow so it took us 2hr. So when we got back to Rotterdam it was 11 pm. When I woke up the next and I got 5 euros from the tooth fairy. So I went to the store and bought some cookie dough bites.

The Netherlands was really fun, it’s third on my list right now.
