Week 1: Back to School

Week 1 September 1-8th, 2024 Week one in New Zealand was great! We moved into our Airbnb, which we will live in for the next 3 months. It’s pretty cozy here but it’s for sure not my favourite place we have stayed at. We had our first week of school, it is better than a real school, but school will always be boring… We start school at 9:00 AM, do work with my parents, and then in the afternoon we...

Bali, Indonesia

Bali was great! I loved it so much and had a blast. Our resort was so nice and everyone was very kind. They had 2 pools and it was a 2-minute walk to the beach. The 5 days we were there we went to the beach than the pool. We would wake up eat breakfast at the resort then take the gold cart to the beach. The water was very nice and warm but for sure had quite a bit...

Bali, Indonesia: Surfing

We landed in Bali at 1 p.m. We could only check in at 3 p.m., so I waited like a king. We looked at the resort, and it had two pools, and both of the pools were perfect temperatures. My favourite day was when we went to the sea and I surfed. The waves were perfect...

60 DAYS OF EUROPE

Wow! The Kress’ did it baby: 60 days, 13 countries, 13k km and we are all still alive…psychologically speaking. Like, what were we thinking? Who, who’s never backpacked before or even been to Europe sets out on one of the stupidest itineraries ever concocted? I would not recommend following in our footsteps and I would never do that again (I would but altered). Seriously, it was a grind at times, and all those travel influencers can go to hell. They...
