Naxos, Greece: Beaches

3 reasons why you should go to Naxos, Greece.

1. The city is so old. Like they have this statue of a woman that is from 70 A.D, like that’s crazy. Its leg was broken in half and it was like beaten up, but it was still in good shape for how old it was. And they have this frame thing called The Temple of Apollo which is really cool because people built it with no machines or modern day technology.

2. Naxos is basically Santorini and Mykonos but more laid back and a lot less tourists. They have good shops there but if you were in search for a souvenir, they don’t really have good choices. The beaches are way better than the beaches in Santorini and I would say even Mykonos, from what I saw online (note: I’ve never been to either island)

3. In Naxos they have loads of cats and surprisingly, they have a couple of donkeys there too. When we had an Airbnb in Naxos, we basically had a house cat and we fed her leftovers and I gave her a name: peekaboo, because she would always sneak up on us. Sometimes she would bring her friends, and they would have a feast. But one time we fed her and her friends bread and later we searched up “are cats allergic to bread” and the answer was “Yes”. So we basically poisoned a cat…
