Kinnon: people are so nice here! Almost nicer than Canadians.
Kadyn: the beautiful views: the greens and the teale waters.

Loathed—
Kinnon: the time difference — when you try and call your friends, its like 19 hrs difference and it sucks.
Kadyn: I didn’t like how they are not pedestrian friendly — like they almost run over me when walking to the grocery store.
Brittany: the cost — produce, eggs and the price of food here is crazy! Gas, clothing, everything…
Mark: sandflies — I had ate sandflies. They are a mix of a mosquito and a wasp and are terrible.

Kinnon:
Kadyn: Mom’s dance moves— especially when playing cards.
Brittany: Mark knocking on someone’s door, asking “did your hedgehog escape” when its just a pest in NZ…
Mark: Kinnon asking if our Airbnb had a shower after living there for a week…
Learned—
Kinnon: New Zealand Maori people have the coolest dance in the world — The Haka.
Kadyn: New Zealand is way more tropical than I thought.
Brittany: it such a beautiful country and it has so much to offer, and it will hold a special place in my heart.
Mark: don’t swim in ocean at dusk when Bronze Whaler Sharks feed (close call Kin…), not all Kiwis are nocturnal (we saw one during the day) and sheep are funny little animals.
