September in New Zealand

September 30, 2024

In September, I started hockey. It was really fun. For the first time, I met two friendly friends. The next day, we went to Kadyn’s gymnastics, and before we went there, we went to Rebels Sports ( which is like Sportcheck), where I got a football.  After we went to Kadyn’s gymnastics we went to a restaurant. I got mac and cheese and my sister got grilled cheese. The mac and cheese was ok. That week we went to this place called Zealandia where they have all these cool birds. They have this bird and there are only 400 left in New Zealand. When we were just about to leave we saw one, and his name was Orval. He had very colourful feathers and an orange beak. For coin flip Friday it was my pick so I picked bowling. The teams were me and my dad and it was Kadyn and my mom. Of course, me and my dad won.

On the next Tuesday before hockey, we went go-karting. It was really fun. Me and my dad had our own go-kart and my sister and mom shared one. After that, we went to hockey. It was really fun. After that, I was really hungry so we went to McDonald’s. The next day we went rollerblading at this basketball court we have by us and I had so much fun. The day after that we went woofing, we went to this farm and did work. The first thing we did there was we groomed a horse. Then we picked leaves and stuff to make a salad. Then we poured a little olive oil on it and it was finished. For coin flip Friday mom got picked and we went on a hike. The hike was all uphill and when we got up there we saw a beautiful view of Wellington.

Bye
